Dr. Christopher W. George
Dr. Christopher George was born in Canton, Ohio. and graduated high school in Minnesota. In Minneapolis he worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. He stayed in Minneapolis until 1999 when he decided to move to Los Angeles.
In 2002, he was managing a medical office and considered entering medical school when he had an accident that required surgery on his knee. After months of physical therapy, he was still unable to completely bend his knee. A friend then took him to a chiropractor, and after a few adjusts he was able to walk without his crutches which made him consider attending chiropractic school.
Dr. George entered school at Cleveland Chiropractic School, Los Angeles in 2005. Even though Dr. George chose to do an advanced program at Cleveland, finishing 4 years of coursework in 3 years, he still found time to study many different styles of chiropractic adjusting and physiotherapy including: Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, SOT, Cox flexion/distraction, Graston, Full Spine Specific, Chiropractic Functional Assesment, and Extremity Adjusting. He graduated Summa Cum Laude as Valedictorian of his class with a 4.0 GPA in 2008.
During his internship, Dr. George volunteered to see patients at the USC medical clinic, Venice Family Free Clinic and on campus at CCCLA. In April, 2008, Dr. George as well as 10 of his classmates raised money and went to practice in Cochabamba, Boliva. This amazing experience gave them the opportunity to see hundreds of patients who had little or no medical or chiropractic care at all. This trip left an indelible mark on Dr. George and his classmates.
After school, Dr. George became a preceptor at the Chiropractic Health and Wellness Center, and we are happy to say he has offically joined our staff. Besides chiropractic adjustments, Dr. George also specializes in Chiropractic Postural Evaluation, Physiotherapy, and Wellness Programs.
